Google Analytics is a valuable tool. It will allow you to track your traffic. It will also allow you to break down your traffic to see what part of the world it is coming from, and if the traffic is coming from a search engine, referal site, or if it is direct traffic. It will allow you to see what keywords people are coming in on and what page they exited on. You can also link google anaylics to your adsense account to see which ads are converting on what pages and the click through rate. This can be a valuable tool when trying to optimize your website.
